Harley-Davidson, Inc yesterday announced its new lineup of new motorcycles for 2012. The company is in plans to produce 32 models on six platforms namely, Sportster, Dyna, Softail,Touring, Trike and V-Rod. Unfortunately, the short lived model Street Glide Trike has been discontinued. The newest addition to the 2012 lineup are the Dyna Switchback (a model with detachable bags and windshield) and V-Rod 10th Anniversary Edition.


Harley had come up with an innovative way to gain customer attention with the H-D1 bikes which are nothing but the opportunity for the customers to modify and construct their own bikes based on their requirements. Apart from these H-D1 bikes, Harley will produce CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) models. This year the CVO bike collection will include CVO Road Glide Custom, Street Glide, Softail Convertible and Ultra Classic Electra Glide.
